Dan Skoda CFI, CFII
Dan Skoda is a Certified Flight Instructor in single
engine aircraft. He has thousands of hours
experience in Cessna Aircraft, having previously
owned a Cessna 182 and currently a Cessna Turbo
206H. Additionally, he trained for his CFI and took
the FAA Practical exam for CFI in a Piper Turbo
Arrow to increase his experience in low wing aircraft.
Additionally, Dan can instruct pilots for their
Instrument Rating to be qualified and safe to file and
fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). He is also
certified to conduct Instrument Proficiency Checks
(IPC).
Skoda is certified to instruct in the “Garmin 1000
Glass Cockpit.” Because of his extensive experience
in Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA), he can
instruct in maximizing the capabilities of the Garmin
430, 530 and the new Aspen Evolution.
Dan realized his love of flying while serving in the
military as a Naval Flight Officer and has since
piloted planes in every state in the United States
including Alaska and Hawaii. His instruction
emphasizes safety and how to enjoy the many
pleasures, privileges and freedoms of flying in
small airplanes.
